The business of looking good

Some will usually say don't judge me by my looks but judge me by who I am.

How simple do you think that is?

You must understand that your looks have a lot to tell about who you are, health-wise, financial,  moral and discipline.

You can understand that most people want to believe what they sighted first,  because sight is what draws attention.

Your manners in public,  the way you move the way you dress,  these are the things that bring people closer to you  or chase people away from you. You think you are decent , dress decent.

If you think you are disciplined,  talk discipline and let your appearance speak for you.  An Igbo adage says;  Anya na ebu uzo  eri (the eyes eats first before the mouth), yes you don't need to eat and dance with a mad man to know if he's mad but his appearance tells you from afar that he is mad.

Often times, men do not need to follow you around to know how neat you are or how friendly you are,  they only need to 'see' you first and obseeeeerve.

Somebody probably was supposed to meet someone in a bank but because the manner she use to express her anger, chased the man away.

Somebody probably was also supposed to meet someone on a trip but the appearance made the man avoid her.

Someone met her husband nine years ago because of a smile and the way she talked to a cyclist that dropped her off .

As we always ask God to bless us with that man who will see us and love us the way we are,  let us also ask God to unveil the things we do not know about ourselves.

So start from now to mend those things you think people see in you and judge you wrongly

Let your looks say you are the kind of woman he prayed for.
