Remember to do it until it becomes an habit, include 'be kind today' in your to-do list

I was passing by the street of Zuckerville one day, when I came across a post that made me pause. It was all about kindness, a word that a lot of people are almost forgetting (I be number 1 sef).

I remember reading the post and making a decision to be kind to the people that cross my path, for as long as I live. This decision is reinforced whenever I meet amazing people who ooze kindness.

So, to the cute little boy, who lost both legs and has now been subjected to beg, instead of going to school like his peers.

To the pure water seller who would smile, because you told her to keep the change (even if na N10).

To the grandpa struggling to operate the Android that one of his children recently got him.

To mama, that wants to form Wonder Woman, by carrying load that even youngie will complain about.

To the tired married woman who enters the keke with three kids and can only pay for one seat. (Broda, do something. Anything)

To the girl that is coughing till Jesus comes, N20 'Baba blue' should give her temporary relief, don't you think? Even if na to recommend, because money no dey.

To that broke friend, who hid her pride to ask for your help.

And even, most importantly.. To those who would never know, who can never repay you.

The list is inexhaustible, but I'd like to think that one can never be too kind. Even in this economy, where a congo of rice is N700 where I am and every biscuit has reduced in quality and quantity (this one is just paining me anyhow).
One random act of kindness can light up an individual. A family even.

Just so you remember to do it until it becomes an habit, include 'be kind today' in your to-do list.
Please know that it doesn't necessarily have to be monetary, especially when you sincerely don't have (and need someone to be kind to you sef).

Let it be that, someone somewhere is smiling because of you.

Make someone believe in Humanity all over again.
