Yesterday's results
France 2 - 1 Albania
Romania 1- 2 Switzerland
Russia    1- 2 Slovakia

The French side ran out two-nil winners after stoppage time goals from Antoine Griezman and Dimitri Payet to the disappointment of the Albanians who had held the hosts for most part of the game. France positions on top of the group with six points from two wins.

The other group fixture saw Romania held by Switzerland to a one-all draw. Romania had taken the lead through a Bogdan Stancu penalty in the 18th minute before Admir Mehmedi equalised  for Switzerland in the 57th minute. Both teams sharing a point.

Meanwhile,the last game of the day saw Slovakia beating the defiant Russians 2-1 with goals from Vladimir weiss and Marek Hamsik sealing the win.

Ukraine  vs Northern Ireland

Germany vs Poland
