Guest Post: Jealousy and Love

She asked me; is jealousy a bad thing? is it wrong to feel jealous? Hmm, I smiled and I replied her; no it is not wrong.

Yes, I do not believe that jealousy is wrong or a sin because it is attached to the heart. So as long as one lives, you have this atom of jealousy that goes within your heart.

I remember the common saying that " jealousy is a part of love" , and I agree to it because where you found love, you will also find jealousy.

The Christians also believe that God is love, yet the Bible states that our God is a jealous God.

Jealousy and love work together, and jealousy is not meant to supersede love in any way.

Jealousy is a kind of feeling. It is not an act , but the way you go about it or what you do about it becomes the act. Maybe only a dead heart does not feel jealous, just like a dead heart does not feel love. Lolzzzz

Love is life., so you must always live in love. There is nothing laughable or funky in loving no one.

What 'am I saying?

Don't let jealousy take the place of love in your heart. If you do, you are no longer in charge of yourself. jealousy makes you destroy everything you worked for.

On social media, we read about

* a wife who cut off her husbands manhood,

* a husband who cut off his wife's hand because he saw her standing with a man,

* a woman who hanged herself and her three years old child because her husband no longer takes care of them,

* a girlfriend who cut off her boyfriend manhood because he cheated on her etc.

To these people, they probably felt it was the only way to show how it hurts to be betrayed. But you must not let the test of love (jealousy) to rule over you because you probably can not escape it.

Jealousy and love are on the same scale that is called the heart, which love is meant to be greater and must maintain that way. It can not be a balanced scale.

You must also learn to differentiate jealousy from love in every friendly relationship; husband and wife, neighbours, boyfriend and girlfriend etc. It will help you pass the test and overcome the trials, I know it comes with great benefits.

Your actions are what makes jealousy bad or good.

Jealousy is a voice that speaks for love, and not a weapon that fights for love. Love itself has the power to fight if you are in charge of yourself.

Is good to feel jealous but don't fight with jealousy it will destroy.
