Sports news: NIGERIAN DREAM TEAM WINS BRONZE -FIRST RIO OLYMPIC MEDAL.
A brace from Sadiq Umar in the 34th and 60th minutes and another from Aminu Umar in the 54th minute were enough to seal the victory for the Dream Team VI on Saturday. 60 minutes into the game,Nigeria were 3-0 up.
However, two defensive blunders by the team enabled Honduras get consolatory goals to make it 3-2,the final score.
The Nigeria men's football Olympic team have now added the bronze to their previous Olympic medals following the Gold at Atlanta 1996 and Silver at Sidney 2000.
