Just last weekend, someone told me about a lady that was earning 40k monthly and yet, was using a phone worth over 200k.

I was almost going to get offended for no reason at all.

Okay. I may have a reason.

However, the lady in question didn't borrow from me to get the phone. But, what I kept asking was.. Couldn't she have used that money to invest in a business or buy a land or even put in fixed deposit or SOMETHING? Why an expensive phone that she may not utilise to its full capabilities?

You see, a lot of young ladies I know, who use expensive phones, do so chiefly for their camera quality. Those selfies must have "slaying" abilities.

Unlike the male folks, that will turn the phone upside down and use it to perform functions it wasn't even originally built to perform.

The above is the case with a lot of young girls today, we just want to live up to other people's expectations. While, the 'other people' want to live up to our own expectations. It becomes an unending Rat Race.
