The wise business person


When two persons especially a man and a woman, walk into your place of business and ask for a product or service, please do well to attend to them properly.

An individual can walk in to window-shop, sightseeing or even to shop-lift. But it is rare to see a man and a woman walk in for any of the above reasons.

What do they want? 

They want your product/service(s). A typical Nigerian man would not want to bore his woman with walking into business places for window-shopping.

So, when you see this set of persons, like I said earlier, do well to attend to them. That is not the time to give outrageous price list because a lot of times, they are well informed of the prices.

Is not a time to act like you are the only one that sells such item in the region.

Is not a time to act the busy boss or sales person.

The chances of making them a lifetime customer and even close friends is high.

Having said this, please treat every of your customer as kings. They are the reason you are expanding and they pay your bills.

This malady of treating people with nonchalance, should stop. You need their money to expand. You need their feedback to improve, you need their continual patronage to build a lasting channel and clientele.

And so many other reasons.

As a business person, be wise, be smart.

If you must build a lasting business empire, you must create and act your core values.
